Last Week's Trip

She had to have her purse and my target receipt in order to go.
There is an elementary school with a playground about 2 blocks away.
Rocks are fun, aren't they???
Tunnel-O-Ellie
You can't tell in the picture but she's climbing (with Daddy's help) up the bars onto a platform and I'm taking the picture from underneath her. :)

hmm...

Looks as if the "boy" is winning....

Only 35 hours to go people...

I should be in bed...Ellie got me sick...

If ONLY I could take Nyquil...

But I'm not in bed, I'm counting the hours down...

McCain

THE STUPID PART:

McCain cut me off from getting on 35E today. Grrrrr!

I had to take a weird way to Mom and Dad's this afternoon from 494 because about 94 cars with flashing lights were going super slow. They came from the airport and got on 35E North forcing me to keep going.

Granted I was within 20 ft of him at some point when I was passing them, I was unhappy when I did. Grrrrr!

THE COOL PART:

I just saw my dad on CNN. I saw his fanny pack too. :) He is doing security for the convention and was standing by the stage waiting for the35E hog to come and check out the podium for his speech. Mom was on the phone with him and told him to raise his hand, which he did but we didn't see it right away so we kept saying, "Do it!!" cause it was panning away from him, only to figure out that it was on a couple second delay...whoops!

Random Tidbits

*The car got checked and it's gotten the ok fr0m Tires Plus. Woo-h00!

*Ellie's sick & up all night with a fever and a terribly runny nose!! :(

*We find out what baby number 2 is at 8am Monday morning!!! But after last night, I sat thinking, "What am I gonna do with 2 kids??? I'd have to go through this TWICE if every sickness gets to both of them!!!" So I decided that when one gets sick we'll ship the healthy one to someone else so they don't get it and we can deal with one at a time. There will be sign-ups coming soon for who gets our children at those times soon, be ready to sign up!!!

*Please pray that this new job opportunity would work out for me, it would be PERFECT for our family!!!

Celebration!!!

YAY! After our dear friend, Peter, mentioned on Facebook that he couldn't believe that a SPARK PLUG had flown from the car.....We just about flipped.

We were really thinking that the car was done for, only to find out there was hope that it wasn't a big deal. So after an afternoon of tears and deals to borrow money, I started calling around asking questions.....and the "Doc" (Tim's Dad) came over with a wrench and TA-DAH!!! It's running BETTER than it was before.

After such an emotional roller coaster of 24 hours, we had to celebrate! So, after pondering thousands of dollars, we spent 30 dollars on pizza!

I think I could cry again!!!
And don't worry, you worry warts out there,
we are still going to get it checked out this week.

Oh! Tim felt the baby move today too...just once....Woo-Hoo!

Yesterday = Bad Day

We started our day with Ellie pinching her fingers in three various doors.
So she spent a lot of time with the ice pack, her nuk, and her "bankek."
Then it got REALLY hot in the house. Which isn't such a big deal, but I wanted to put this picture up anyways...She's running around almost naked to combat the heat and she's got her guitar because BJ from her Barney video is playing his guitar.

Then at about 4pm we were going to leave to head to Tim's parents for dinner. We pulled out of the garage and Tim ran around the side of the house to get his brother. Instantaneously (Ellie and I are in the car) there was a horrid noise in the engine and I could see something from inside hitting the hood of the car. So skipping to the end...Tim, Joel and I all hid behind the doors of the car, and with the hood up, we turned the car back on to see what would happen. That thing in my hand flew out of the engine BUT because it was still attached by the black tubing it made an arc and came back down rather quickly.

SO.
BAD DAY.
WE HAVE NO IDEA WHAT'S GOING TO HAPPEN FROM HERE.
