Final Update

Born: 4:50 pm
Weight: 7 lbs 14 oz
Length: 20.5"

Since the last post, Jenny reached a "5" and asked for an epidural. We waited for it to kick in, but the epidural wasn't working very well, so they came back and gave Jenny an extra boost to hopefully help with the pain, but it didn't seem to work. Jenny was trying to relax and closed her eyes for a bit, and since we thought it would be an hour or two, at least, I snuck out to talk to my mom and Jenny's parents. When I got back to the room, Jenny had pressed the nurse call button and was crying because it hurt so bad (I felt terrible...). The nurse came into the room and said that Jenny might be ready to go. She checked her and said that she was ready to start pushing!

The doctor showed up within a few minutes and Jenny started pushing after they got everything situated and ready. Within about 5 minutes (3 contractions) the baby was out! That was a crazy 15 minutes!

So, Jenny was pretty much jumped from a "5" to "done" in 20 minutes!
Pretty crazy!

Oh, and by the way, the first name is Anna.
We're still trying to decide on the middle name.
We'll keep you updated.
