The Gaming Larsens

Larsens like to play games.
This was Minute to Win It - LARSEN Style!
First, walk around the table whilst kissing the green ball.
Then, put the boxes in the proper order
according to how many bells were inside.
Then, have your husband spill on you.
Next, blow the card off the end of the table...
so that it looks like this.
Next, get the cookie from your forehead to your mouth 3 times
without it falling.
Then, get the ball from one end of the counter, around the counter,
and to the other side by waving cardboard.
Next, stack up 3 golf balls.
Then, stack the nuts with a candy cane.
LASTLY, and BESTLY,
get the ball to stick to your Vaseline covered nose...
like this.
(Chad staged this because he couldn't do it.)
Tim couldn't do it.
But AMBAR did!
Team Ambar & Jeremy won the competition.
(They win everything.)

Ellie's World #7

I got a Jessie and Woody doll that have the string on their back that talk.
I love them.
They even have Andy on their boots.
This is my Mom and Dad.
This is the bed I sleep in at Grandma Larsen's house.
This is me trying to take one of those one arm pictures of me and my bear.

Anna got an Elmo sweatshirt for Christmas.
There's even Elmos on the inside!
Look at how I set everything up for this picture.
I'm like Mommy.
Here's Grandma's stairs all decorated.
And Grandma has red towels.

And this is the snow.

Christmas 2010: Behind the Scenes

My dad found Jeremy's old Transformer toy...
highlight of Jeremy's year, apparently.
I don't make my kids eat their traditional Christmas Eve meal
after what happened this year.
My fear was that if they eat that same meal,
the same thing will happen.
Paranoid much?
Why, yes I am.
I'm jealous of the people that can take the one arm photos
and still look normal.
This is the first time I don't look like Sloth (Goonies).
Now these kinds of one arm photos, I'm a pro at.
I wish I hadn't cut off Tim's valiant try at joining in.
For this one, I want you to notice Ellie.
I got this face every 17 minutes for the next 4 days.
There was a trail mix of sorts in that bowl...
with M&Ms and chocolate morsels...
"Can I have one NOW, please?"

Christmas 2010: The Real Deal

We started our Christmas Eve by heading up to Tim's sister's house.
We met our newest niece, Rachel...she's the teeny one!
The four Mathiesen grandbabies.
We found out that Rylee had gotten the flu,
so the rest of our Christmas we didn't get the matching picture to the above.
So here's 2 of the soon to be 4 Larsen grandbabies.

Our little family.
Just us.

Christmas 2010: In The Midst

In the midst of this Christmas season,
we were able to take a day to really celebrate ALL DAY.
First we celebrated Baby Jesus during Ellie's Sunday school program...
in her Christmas dress.
Then we got to celebrate Baby Jesus with Uncle Joel,
his girlfriend - Michaela,
and G & G Mathiesen.
We got to eat a very nice (kidless) lunch...
Then we ate a snack when the girls got up from their naps...
we read the Christmas story...
and then we opened PRESENTS!!!!
Ellie is EXTREMELY into clothes right now.
She immediately turned around and ran to put this on.
Anna LOVES any and all books!
This is one of our new favorite pictures of Anna.
We have a similar one of Ellie...

Then we were off to the Bethel Staff Christmas Party - Family style.
Wasn't kidding when I said we celebrated ALL DAY!!

Christmas 2010: The Beginning

So far our Christmas Season of 2010 has had it's ups and downs.
This roller coaster has been quite entertaining for the four of us....
We have our tree!
(It's already dying.)
The house and the tree are decorated!
(One broken ornament thus far.)
We have tons of snow!
(Our snow blower doesn't work.)
Ellie has started her "Baby Jesus" phase!
(Our tree has a major lean!)
Ellie just finished her Preschool Christmas Program at Morning Son!
(Tim and Anna stayed home sick.)
