The End of a GREAT Day!

Ellie's 2nd Birthday Party!

Ellie had a monkey themed party this afternoon
with family and her little friend, Ava.

We didn't mention a whole lot about the party
so that she would MAYBE take a nap,
so when she got up...PARTY TIME!!!
She was super excited about all the balloons
and family members that were in the living room when she got up!

Ellie LOVES fruit...so we had a fruit buffet and punch!

Ellie had a blast opening presents
(with a little help and support from Ava).

With each new present she would take the card around the crowd
(with this exact face)
and show everyone....it was pretty cute!

I was pretty excited this morning, when I was looking for a sweater for little Ellie to wear. I found MY sweater from when I was HER age!!! It says "Jenny" in script on the front and I have clear memories of choosing to wear this sweater as a kid. SO it was super fun to take a few pictures of her wearing it...

She had NO interest in getting her picture taken.














Tim taught her recently how to play with the mirrors in our bathroom. She counts how many Ellies she sees. It's pretty cute!!!

Go ahead and turn your head a little to the right, squint your left eye and hold your right ear with your left hand...you can maybe pretend that the doll Ellie is holding is real.
