Rash = Bath

Her hair's coming in more! YAY! So therefore her curls are thicker!! YAY!!
Ellie's been sick this week, so we've been in the bath a lot in the last few days.
You'd never know she was sick til you open the diaper - poor tooshy!!!

Fridge-Gallery Opening!

Ellie made it at daycare with Sharon. She knows right where it is...so when you ask her where Ellie's christmas tree is - she goes NUTS, runs to the kitchen leans on the oven right in front of it and says "OOOH" about 13 times. :) Pretty cute!

Toothbrush Fun

This morning she desperately wanted to do it on her own.
All she does is suck the kid toothpaste stuff off of it.
I suppose she sort of moved it around - not sure if that counts though.

My nose looks freakishly long, but her face is too cute.
Another item for my list of sacrifices as a mother.

Blown Away

A few days ago we got a lot of snow...Tuesday...and I hung out at my parents waiting for Tim to call and say I can pick him up at the bus station. I'm on the computer quite a bit when I'm there. I have to say it's because it's so much faster than ours. BUT I came across a blogspot where the computer couldn't keep up with how fast I wanted it to load. It was about 5:30 pm when I came across the site. I was so moved by the title of the newest entry on the blog that I had to start at the beginning. The earliest I could find was Aug of 2006. So I started reading entries about a little boy and his trip home into Jesus arms.

I tear up thinking about it. Not just because I cry pretty easily. But because as a mom, not knowing what's wrong with your baby could stop your world from turning. Adrienne, Noah's mom, wrote exactly what she was wrestling with and how God was teaching her though those 5 (or so) months. Gut wrenching stuff. After going to get Tim, eating dinner and all, I had to stop reading at 10pm - absolutely exhausted. Spring of 2005 was the last time I had felt exhaustion like that.

Please, please go read it. Soak it in. I learned more in those 3.5 hours than almost any other time in my life about God's sovereignty, power and comfort.

Fun Times!

Ava came to visit on Sunday! Yay! She was going to get a new friend that day so her mommy and daddy came to stay with us while they waited for "the call!" Brooklyn Sue was born that night! She's a cutie - check out the Stumbo blog to see her!

The group shot was not a winner - but I think all the faces really show what we were thinking at that moment. : )

FIRST GOOSE EGG!

It's small but it's there!
She went head first into the front step at Maria's house.
Poor baby!

Christmas Tree 2007

My Mom had a small fake tree in her room that is now our Christmas tree. YAY!
We weren't sure how Ellie would react to it. So far it's ok. She knows she's not supposed to touch the ornaments ( only 1 broken so far - but that was before it even made it to the tree)
so when she does and we say no - she runs and throws herself on our black cubes things
in front of the couch. It's pretty cute. And NO, I'm not pregnant. The fourth stocking is for the dust bunnies. I'm cheap. I didn't want to buy a 3 letter word only to buy a 4 letter word sometime in the next couple years.
