Pacifier buddies!

We also got to spend time with Jen & Ben and their daughter, Ava. The big kids were playing games at one point and the mommies realized their little girls were trying out each other's pacifiers. They switched a few times....we laughed pretty hard! What good friends the girls already are!

G & G Mathiesen's House!

Ellie and I spent last week up in Fergus with Grandma and Grandpa Mathiesen. We had tons of fun running around the house in circles carrying dishtowels, measuring spoons and our most favorite....diapers.

New Tricks

She's learned a few new tricks in the last couple weeks!

She now lays her head on anything when you say,
"Nigh-Night!"









And she now gives hugs!

Laundry

We didn't realize what fun a pile of laundry is to an 11 month old!
So we had some fun dressing her in all the random clothes she was carrying around!

She looks huge here - she was actually trying to get down.

I think in this one she had the shirt, 2 bibs and a couple socks on her somewhere. Thank goodness the undies she had were just beyond the camera view!

New Deck

We built a deck a few weeks ago! YAY! No more tetanus worries...

We had some help from my brother, Jeremy and Tim's sister's huband, Pete. Michelle and I played with the girls inside. I failed to think about getting a picture of the girls together. Probably becuase I had a 101 temp all day and didn't realize it.

Lake Nokomis

Ellie got to visit the swings near the lake while we waited for Pavel.
She was a little unsure at first but loved be pushed high
once she got her grip...death grip....on the swing.

This is our good friend Pavel Romaniko.
He took our wedding pictures and ended up moving to New York
just a few weeks before she was born.
She hadn't seen a Russian before!
Didn't phase her much.

Last night I was doing dishes and heard some adorable giggling. And this is what I saw in the living room. The pictures don't give the best idea of what was happening. But she was giggling in that sort of way that makes ya think she was peeing her pants....um, diaper......
